COURSE DESCRIPTION (Academic writing)
You will become familiar with writing well-structured and coherent paragraphs and essays. The course will provide you with information and practice on the following topics:

1. Grammar ( English Grammar Digest : Chapter 8)
2. Useful vocabulary manual
3. Zemach, Dorothy E. (2003). College Writing. Oxford: Macmillan.
4. Gholami, J. (2008). Essay activator handbook (unpublished draft version) ( the chapters related to each unit will be touched upon briefly and the students are required to use the related examples in their writing)
